thestar.com.my Friday March 26, 2010 – JUNIOR golfer Chang Ervin scored a double over the recent one-week school holidays.

The SJK (C) Seri Serdang Baru 2 Year Six pupil scored a perfect swansong competing in the boys’ Under-12 section at the three-day national schools championships (MSSM) at the Seremban International Golf Club that concluded on March 18.

Many of Malaysia’s brightest young golfing prospects were treated to a master class by Asian stars Thongchai Jaidee and Danny Chia and Australian veteran Stewart Ginn. The trio were the centre of attention at a Celebrity Clinic and Awards Party of the MST Golf Academy presented by Callaway Golf. Organised by MST Golf Management, the event at Kuala Lumpur’s Glenmarie Golf and Country Club attracted more than 100 boys and girls, aged between three and 18. MST Golf Management, the owning company of MST Golf Academy, said it was in the process of replicating its Glenmarie operation at both Royal Johor Country Club and Royal Perak Golf Club, with the aim of opening four further academies across the country in 2009.
